Our diesel engine remanufacturing process is simple.  It's called, "leave no stone unturned".  When we recieve an engine to remanufacture the first step is to strip down the engine completely to a bare block.  All parts and components are cleaned and the cylinder block is dipped in a hot caustic soda tank to remove all old grease, oil & dirt.  Once the block is down to bare, clean cast iron it's inspection time.

And time to ask questions.

Why did this engine fail?  Was it overheated?  Was it lack of oil?  Or was it just tired?  These are questions we need to answer in order to find other possible problems & the cause of those problems.  Why?  So it doesn't happen again.

Once all the machine work has been done the engine is assembled using all new bearings, gaskets, seals, pistons, rings, camshaft & lifters.  Part of "leave no stone unturned" is to include the remanufacture of all outside components such as injection pumps, injectors, turbochargers and oil coolers in our remanufactured engines.

Once assembly is complete the engine is set up in our brand new dynomometer room and connected to our new Borghi & Severi dyno, capable of testing up to 1000 horsepower engines.  While in a test stand all of our remanufactured engines are adjusted to OEM specifications.  After sufficent dyno break-in time all engines are washed, masked and shot with a paint gun for a first class look.
